Clean and Green (and Cheap!)

Using harsh chemical cleaners in the home isn’t healthful or good for the environment. It’s not particularly frugal, either. Although there are occasionally good deals on popular cleaning supplies at CVS, the regular prices for these items are by no means low.

Thankfully, there are effective, inexpensive, environmentally friendly alternatives to chemical-based cleaning products. Check out these helpful links, courtesy of Sarah at About.com: Housekeeping. You’ll see how easy it is to make your home sparkle naturally!

I only know the basic homemade stuff.

I usually buy my cleaning supplies through... environmentally-friendly, of course. I use Nature Clean (http://www.naturecleanliving.com) products.

They're a little pricier than regular cleaners, but they're safe and effective. Plus, I live near a store that will refill your container! Less waste all around.

Hope that helps!
